L’UMANO C è una meta-performance che affronta il tema delle migrazioni, mettendo a confronto le storie dei migranti contemporanei con l’archeologia e il mito dei Bronzi di Riace. Al centro dell’opera c’è la “macchina”, un’intelligenza artificiale che rileva e rappresenta provocatoriamente l’umanità perduta e quella da riscoprire. Tra naufragio e rinascita, la performance intreccia eredità antropologiche e creatività contemporanea, creando un dialogo suggestivo tra passato e presente. I Bronzi di Riace, simboli di memoria e scoperta, fungono da fulcro della narrazione, in cui i migranti contemporanei vengono elevati a figure iconiche, proprio come le statue antiche. La performance restituisce loro dignità e valore, trasformandoli nei nuovi “Bronzi”, simboli di resilienza e di un futuro da riscoprire e apprezzare. L’UMANO C offre un’esperienza immersiva in cui tecnologia, arte e storia si intrecciano, stimolando nuove interazioni tra memoria e innovazione, tra archeologia e modernità, in un costante percorso di ricerca del senso e dell’identità umana.

HUMAN C is a meta-performance that addresses the theme of migration, juxtaposing the stories of contemporary migrants with archaeology and the myth of the Riace Bronzes. At the heart of the work is the “machine,” an artificial intelligence that provocatively detects and represents both the lost and the rediscovered aspects of humanity. Between shipwreck and rebirth, the performance weaves together anthropological heritage and contemporary creativity, creating a suggestive dialogue between the past and the present. The Riace Bronzes, symbols of memory and discovery, serve as the focal point of the narrative, where contemporary migrants are elevated to iconic figures, just like the ancient statues. The performance restores their dignity and value, transforming them into the new “Bronzes,” symbols of resilience and a future to be rediscovered and appreciated. The Human C offers an immersive experience where technology, art, and history intertwine, stimulating new interactions between memory and innovation, archaeology and modernity, in a constant exploration of the meaning of human identity.
